Here’s the Problem:
So many entrepreneurs are missing opportunities and leaving cash on the table. They want their voices to be heard. They have terrific products and programs that would really help people. But nobody understands what these folks are talking about when they describe their offerings! Time and time again, I hear from entrepreneurs who tell me, when they talk about their product or service, people seem to be entertained, or intrigued, or unsure, but they don’t buy anything. Well, of course not!
The Shame of it:
Do you have any idea how much time and money you’re wasting because your message isn’t clear? If your audience has no idea what you do, and why it’s valuable TO THEM, they’re not going to do business with you. It’s that simple.
Your “Tribe,” versus Everyone Else:
Many of us are used to working with, and around, people who speak our language. I don’t care if you’re a medical professional or a shop owner down the street. We all have short cuts in our speech, or unique terms that make it clear to our peers what we’re saying. And if you never care to expand that circle of influence, you can keep doing and saying things the same ‘ole way.
Now, it you want to take your business to a higher level, you have to start playing with a new set of skills. You’ve got to come around the table to my side and listen to you give your pitch. Remember, I may not know your insider terms, your references, or have had the same experience as the members of your tribe. How do you make me understand what you do, how you do it, and why I should care – in about 20 seconds?
I know it’s not easy. It takes know-how and practice to be a clear communicator whose message has impact and inspires someone to take action. Please avoid the two-pronged problem of missed opportunities, and, having to re-do all that messaging on your website, Bio, product description, podcast intro, and so much more. Make sure you find a consultant who can help you get it right the first time. Save yourself the hassle.
